The NFL, in a painfully obvious and auxiliary manner, is doing all they can to let the Saints get to, and possibly win, the Super Bowl.
I won’t enumerate the ways, for they are too bountiful. One, in particular though, is flagrant. The Saints got to play the only opponent who didn’t get a full week’s rest from their previous game, because the NFL “didn’t want the Chicago Bears to play consecutive home games at night in a cold-weather city and an outdoor stadium.” {source}
